3d6	Three 6-sided dice thrown together and added.
1d8 + 2d4 + 12	A typical damage throw for one of Nevyn's arrows.
4d6b3	Four 6-sided dice thrown, take the best three. Regular ability rolls.
8d6b3	Eight 6-sided dice thrown, take the best three. OP ability rolls. (No, Sam and Paul! No!)
